Pay on-line

You can make payments to South Gloucestershire Council, via the council's online payments website, for:

  • Council tax
  • Business rates
  • Housing benefits overpayments
  • Housing payments
  • General invoices including; licences, excess parking charges, school meal charges.
  • Trading standards payments

Visa and Switch debit cards can be used for all payments.

Credit cards can only be used for general invoices.

Before you use online payments you will need to have your bill or invoice to hand, as you will be asked to enter an "account number" for each invoice you wish to pay.

If you would like to receive payment confirmation you will also need a current e-mail address.

What you can expect

You will be transferred to our payments handling agent; Axis online services. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Paying on-line is encrypted and fully secure.

When the payment details have been completed you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
