Pay your council tax or business rates via your internet bank account
Payments made by this method will normally take up to 4 working days to reach the council’s bank account, therefore you should make allowance for this to avoid falling into arrears.
Refer to your on-line bank for payment instructions. You will require the following:
- Our bank sort code is 55-61-38
- Our bank account number is 80105629
- Your billing reference number.
Please note: The billing reference number allocates your payment to your own account. This number can change when you move home or premises, but we will send you a new bill which confirms your new number.
Please make sure that your bank is informed of any changes to your billing reference number so that your payment is allocated correctly.
