Road safety officers have put together a resource box to help pre-school children learn about road safety.
The items in the box introduce children to key road safety messages through play and activities. Each item has a written lesson plan.
All pre-school and nursery groups in South Gloucestershire can borrow the box for free. You can book it for up to two weeks to allow time to prepare and plan sessions and then introduce them to the children.
The box contains:
- A model zebra crossing
- Model belisha beacons
- A child-size school crossing patrol uniform
- Jigsaws
- Books
- Videos
- Sponges
- Games
