Ways to pay your Penalty Charge Notice (parking ticket)
You have 14 days from the day after you are issued with a ticket in which to pay at the reduced rate.
General information
Cheques and postal orders must be crossed and made payable to South Gloucestershire Council.
Always quote the Penalty Charge Notice number when making payments - this makes sure that the payment is matched to the correct Penalty Charge Notice.
On-line
You can pay your Penalty Charge Notice on-line using a secure facility by credit or debit card.
By phone
Phone 0845 245 0682 to pay by debit or credit card. You can make a payment at any time. You will need a touch-tone telephone, but most modern phones are of this type.
In person
You can pay in person between Monday and Friday (not bank holidays) between 9am and 4pm at these offices:
- Kingswood Civic Centre, High Street, Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, BS15 9TR
- The Council Offices, Castle Street, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire BS35 1HF
- Yate Area Office, Kennedy Way, Yate, South Gloucestershire BS37 4HX
The offices accept cash and cheques or postal orders.
