We want to make it easy for everyone to get around South Gloucestershire. We are already designated a centre of excellence for transport and have developed plans to further improve transport in the area in the coming years. We have teamed up with our neighbouring councils – Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol City and North Somerset, to produce a Joint Local Transport Plan for the period from 2011 – 2026. This sets out how we propose to deliver an integrated and sustainable transport system.

We are making excellent progress against national and local targets and publish progress reports annually.
