Shared use path
 We are developing a network of routes which will link some of the more important locations in the area. The emphasis is in making cycling attractive to everyone; so we need to ensure that routes are direct, convenient, legible and easy to use.

6 Bradley Stoke to Cribbs Causeway via Northfield Programmed for 2010/11 Design and consult on section to the east of the A38
7 Ring Road path Preliminary design subject to scrutiny in December 2009. Consultation started January 2010 Elm Park area visited with CTC March 2010. Construction scheduled for spring/summer 2010
8 Emersons Green links to village centre Safety Audit completed. Notices prepared for raised crossing points Construction started in February 2010-ongoing. Vegetation removal March 2010
9 Northern Link to University of West of England Construction started 5th November 2009 Substantial completion by March 2010-signing and lining to follow.  Consult on northern extension to Winterbourne Road (B4057) during 2010/11)
10 Southern Link to University of West of England Preliminary designs being worked up & cycle ride over route planned for February 2010 Consultation planned for April 2010

14 Emersons Green Science Park link Developer funded route
15 Yate to Mangotsfield Initial landowner negotiations and consultation completed. Design work on-going – topographical and ecological surveys carried out Submission of planning application 24th Feb 2010. Route alignment of southern section being developed. Eradication of Japanese Knotwood to commence March 2010.
17  A38 road review Public consultation and Safety Audit completed Construction programmed for early 2010/11
