The licensing of taxi vehicles and drivers in South Gloucestershire are the responsibility of licensing services.
We issue licences and permits for taxis and mini cabs and make sure that licensees abide by licence conditions and regulations. We are also responsible for setting fares charged by hackney carriages, whilst private hire vehicles operate on the basis that the fare is agreed between the driver and the customer.
