These forms should be used to apply for planning permission for “domestic” works within the grounds of a single dwelling and are commonly known as Householder applications.
Applications could include proposals for
• Erecting an extension to a house - a conservatory , single or two storey extensions, loft conversion
• Building a porch
• Constructing a car port or garage
• Converting an existing domestic garage into additional living accommodation
• Constructing a garden wall
• Erection of a garden shed or domestic outbuilding
• Formation of a driveway and access onto a highway
These forms cannot be used for flats, erection of new dwellings or non-residential premises.
The planning application forms also combine types of permission into one application, preventing needless duplication by the applicant. Householder development requiring listed building consent or conservation area consent can be applied for on one of the forms below. But in the majority of cases, most customers will only need to use the Householder application form.
