This is a drop in session and customers will be seen on a first come, first service basis.
Orchard & Shipman provide a housing advice service to residents of South Gloucestershire. They offer advice and information to help you keep, or find a home. They can help you deal with issues including possible eviction, harassment, arrears, debt and repair. If you are a home owner, they can offer advice if you are in mortgage arrears, or you are threatened with repossession. Community Benefit Officers
Community Benefit Officers can:
- Calculate claims for Housing and/or Council Tax Benefit,
- Answer complicated enquires
- Reassesses claims where you have had a change in circumstances

Community Revenues Officers
Community Revenue Officers can:
- Answer any enquiries you have about Council Tax
- Award exemptions and discounts that will help reduce your charge
- Set you up for Council Tax if you have just moved into a property
- End your liability and advise you of your closing balance if you are moving out of a property.

South Gloucestershire Law Services
- Kingswood One Stop Shop every two weeks Thursday 2.00pm-4.00pm commences 3rd February 2011.
- This is a drop in session and customers will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.
South Gloucestershire Law Services provide free and confidential debt advice. Advice on rent/mortgage arrears, council tax debts, utility bills, magistrates court fines, credit cards and loans debts, mobile phone contracts, catalogue/consumer credit agreements, hire purchase and bankruptcy issues.
