Food complaints - out of hours
If you want to complain about food safety outside working hours, call the out-of-hours line and leave details. The complaint will be dealt with on the next working day.
If there is a foreign body in the food, you should handle it as little as possible. Put both the food and the foreign body into a sealed container in the fridge or freezer until you are contacted by an officer.
If your complaint is about mould, the item must go in a sealed container in the freezer.
If you are complaining about the condition of food premises, leave the details on the out-of-hours line.
