We operate a system of alternate weekly collections.
Week 1
Green Waste (in green wheeled bin)
Dry Recyclables (in green box)
Paper and Magazines (in green polypropylene bag)
Cadboard (bagged or loose alongside food bucket)
Food waste (in food bucket)
Week 2
Residual waste (in black wheeled bin)
Plastic bottles (in white polypropylene bag)
Food Waste (in food bucket)
Please note, we collect waste on all bank holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Special circumstances
As over half of household waste can be recycled you should have adequate capacity in your bin if you are using your green containers for everything that can be recycled.
If you have special circumstances that mean you cannot manage with the space in your black bin, ie a large family (6 or more) or special medical problem which makes managing your black bin waste difficult then please contact the Contact Centre Helpdesk on 01454 868000 to discuss ways we may be able to help you.
