If you own your home and you are worried about missing a mortgage payment, or you are already in mortgage arrears, there are a number of organisations that can offer you advice.
The Council works with Shelter to run a housing advice service to help people who are worried that their home might be repossessed. Shelter can be contacted at either drop in, or phone advice sessions as detailed below,
