To purchase certain types of goods and services we use approved suppliers. These suppliers have demonstrated that they are able to carry out work to the necessary standards and are added to our approved supplier lists. For construction contracts below the EU tendering threshold - currently at £139,893 for goods and certain services and £3,497,313 for public works contracts, we use suppliers who have registered with 'Constructionline' - a directory of pre-qualified UK construction contractors and consultants. When it is relevant we also use suppliers registered with CHAS, the Contractors Health and Safety assessment scheme.
The lists are used to draw up shortlists of companies to be invited to tender for contracts as and when they arise.
Please note that being accepted on an approved supplier list does not guarantee the award of contracts.

This contains the relevant contact details and in some cases downloadable application forms. For any categories of goods and services not shown on this schedule we do not keep an approved supplier list.
