- Hardcore (rubble) and soil
- Wood
- Glass bottles and jars
- Textiles and shoes (tied together in pairs)
- Paper
- Food and drinks cans
- Vehicle tyres
- Refrigerators and freezers
- Televisions and computer monitors
- Large electrical equipment (ie cookers and washing machines)
- Small electrical equipment (ie kettles, irons, toasters)
You cannot dispose of commercial waste at any Sort It!* centre.

The Sort It!* centre is at the end of Short Way on the Thornbury Industrial Estate. To reach this, follow the ring road (Midland Way) around to the south of Thornbury to the entrance to the industrial estate, Cooper Road. Follow Cooper Road down to Short Way which is the second turning on the left. The Sort It!* centre entrance is 200m along on the right.
