If you live in South Gloucestershire and have a baby under twelve months old, the council and the Real Nappy Project are offering an incentive of £30 to help you buy real nappies.
Criteria
- You must be a resident of South Gloucestershire.
- Your baby must be less than 12 months old.
- You must commit to spending at least £50.00 on real nappies at one time, either at a retailer or a nappy laundry – see 3. below. If you prefer to buy on-line (goods must be new and not second-hand), you may claim money back direct. You will need to complete your voucher and return with a full receipt, listing your purchases and showing a total of over £50. Please let us know to whom you would like the cheque payable.
- You cannot backdate a claim.
- The incentive will apply to the retailers and laundries on the suppliers list that will be sent to you when you apply to the scheme.
- We may contact you a few months after you start using your nappies so that we can evaluate the effectiveness of the scheme.
Application
1. Send us a photocopy of your MAT B1 or your baby’s birth certificate with a completed application form. You can find an application form on the Resourcefutues website (link shown opposite).
2. We will then send you a numbered incentive voucher and list of local suppliers.
3. You may take your voucher to one of the places on the list. If you buy from a retailer they will deduct £30.00 if you spend at least £50.00 in one sale. If you go to a nappy laundry they will deduct £30.00 if you commit to spending at least £50.00 with them (you can use their laundering service or buy nappies from them). If you buy from a supplier not listed, you can receive a personal refund by cheque.
4. We may contact you in a few months to see how you are getting on with your nappies (your details will not be passed on to anyone else).
