Advice about your gas or electricity supplier

The independent consumer watchdog - Energywatch, may be able to help you choose the right gas or electricity supplier. They can also help you make a complaint should you feel your energy supplier has treated you poorly.

Energywatch produces a range of leaflets on the following topics:

  • How we can help you
  • Understanding gas and electricity supply contracts
  • How to pay less for your energy
  • Energy issues when moving home
  • Doorstep and telephone selling
  • How to complain
  • Priority service register for gas and electricity customers

You can pick them up at the council's one-stop shops, at area housing offices or get them directly from Energywatch.
