Mobile rural children's centre

The Rural Mobile is a travelling information and advice service for families in hard to reach areas. The Rural Mobile Service attends Rural Communities visiting schools, pre-schools, community groups to offer advice and support for families. 

Stay and Play Sessions currently running:

Charfield Memorial Hall, Wotton Road, Charfield, Wotton Under Edge, GL12 8ST

Fridays 09.30am - 11.30am 

Pucklechurch Community Centre, Abson Road, Pucklechurch, BS16 9RH

Thursdays 13.00pm -15.00pm 

Forestry PEEP (peers, early education partnership)

Forestry PEEP is held in the Memorial woodlands it is run by Sure Start and Jane Gulliver Area SENCO. Forestry PEEP is a parenting programme with a difference as we are able to include the importance of outdoor play. For more information please contact 01454 864144.  

Information and Advice Sessions

All Sure Start Centres within South Gloucestershire now offer families with young children and information, advice and guidance service. Our Family Information Advisers can help you find out about local services and community provision, such as library services, toddler and pre-school groups, local childminders etc. We have information kiosks in every Children’s Centre to help you find out about health services, training and jobs, debt advice, benefit entitlements and much more.
