As has been mentioned throughout, arts projects vary considerably in size and scope and you may need to address each stage appropriately. However, even for a single workshop, it is worth considering all the steps: - Write a side of A4 about your group and what you hope to achieve
- Consult one of the databases or talk to the Arts Development Unit about suitable artists or
talk to the artist in advance and sort out the arrangements - Confirm these in writing
- Hold a quick feedback session at the end of the workshop to assess how it went
For larger projects, allow yourselves plenty of time for planning, fundraising and selection of artists. Again, we are happy to offer advice and support about developing your project.
