Connecting nature, people and communities ...across Staple Hill, Kingswood and Cadbury Heath Co-ordinated by South Gloucestershire Council, Wildways is a three year project funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces Programme which is managed by Natural England under the Access to Nature Scheme.
Join the Wildways team this season for a packed programme of Wild outdoor events in our local green spaces including bats walks, owl prowls, a bat bike safari, foraging, cooking and apple days:
Saturday 1st October: Orienteering taster event at Warmley Forest park 1.30-4pm.
Tuesday 13th September: Bat Walk, Warmley Forest Park (Scout hut) 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Thursday 15th September: Bat Walk, Grimsbury Farm, Kingswood 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Monday 19th September: Bat Walk, Rodway Common, Rodway Hill 7pm – 9pm
Thursday 22nd September: Bat Bike Safari, meet 6.30pm at entrance to Railway Path Bristol or at Bitton to cycle to Mangotsfield Station. 6.30-8.30pm approx. DARK - bring bike lights!
Friday 23rd September: Bat Walk, Willsbridge Mill 7pm – 9pm
