The Learning Difficulties Service helps people with learning difficulties over the age of 18 and their carers.
In the team there are:
- Art, drama and music therapists
- Care management assistants
- Nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Psychiatrists
- Psychologists
- Physiotherapists
- Speech and language therapists
- Social Workers
The Learning Difficulties Service can help people with their care needs as well as their health needs. There is a Social Worker on duty every day to give information and advice.
There are also staff that work in day centres, help people get jobs and support people to become independent.
