The South Gloucestershire Supporting People Forum is an independent member-led forum for accredited providers of Supporting People services in South Gloucestershire. We represent the views of support providers to the Supporting People Team and help them fulfill their duty to consult with and inform providers. The forum has an elected steering group of 6 representatives, details of which you can view or download from the 'Read more' section on this page.
Three elected members from the forum also sit on the Core Strategy Development Group to input both information from and the views of providers to the Supporting People Strategy and other related strategies in addition to commenting on and influencing policies which impact on the sector.
The forum also represents the views of local providers at a regional level, via representation on the South West Providers Forum. This facilitates information exchange and consultation locally and regionally.
Membership of the South Gloucestershire Supporting People Forum is free. We meet on a quarterly basis in Winterbourne. For further information please contact:
