- Family History Ancestry - search for your ancestors on-line (access via South Gloucestershire library PCs only). Contact the library to book a free internet session
- Newspapers Online - NewsBank gives you access to archived articles for national newspapers such as The Times, The Guardian and the Daily Express. Local titles eg the Evening Post and the Western Daily Press are also available. On the international front NewsBank gives access to the New York Times and its supplements as well as the China Daily (in English). Many newspapers can be searched from 1998 to the present day. A great resource for those tracing a news story.
