Bins

We collect the following at the kerbside:

Weekly 

  • Food waste (in your grey food waste bin)

Fortnightly

  • Garden waste (in your green wheelie bin)
  • Dry recycling (in your green recycling box) (Dry recycling include, food and drinks cans, glass bottles and jars, paper and magazines, textiles (bagged) household and car batteries metal foil, used engine oil)
  • Paper recycling (in your green paper recycling bag)
  • Household refuse that cannot be recycled (in your black wheelie bin)
  • Plastic bottles (in your white recycling bag)
  • Cardboard (placed securely alongside or under your other containers)

We also have special services for:

  • Elderly or disabled people
  • Clinical waste for people with certain health conditions
  • Items that are too big to fit in your bin (bulky waste)
Latest news and advice:

Top tip: If your food waste bin lid has become slightly mishapen whilst in storage, close the lid and place it in the lockable position for 24-48 hours. It should then return to its original shape.
