Nursery schools

The council offers the following facilities:
  • Reception classes in infant and primary schools
  • 8 nursery classes attached to infant and primary schools

Children are not legally required to attend school until they are of compulsory school age, i.e. the term after their fifth birthday. General information on all other providers including pre-school playgroups and day nurseries is available in a leaflet. If you require a copy of these leaflets and/or information on individual providers, please contact the Children and Young People Information Service 01454 868008. Application forms and further information for nursery classes at the following schools are available from each school and the Student Access and Support section. The form can also be downloaded and printed out – see related documents.
