Consultation lets us know what you think about local services, issues, plans, strategies and events. We use different ways to consult.
Online consultations
All council consultations are listed on our online consultation system; see the 'Have your say' box on the right hand side of this page to see the latest consultations. Here you can register your interest in consultations, view and download documents, take part in online surveys and discussions as well as find out the outcome of consultations.
Our online consultation system is designed to encourage more people to take part in consultations. Consultation information will still be available in other formats and at council offices as we know that not everyone has access to the internet.
Citizens survey (Viewpoint)
Our citizens survey, Viewpoint, allows residents to give views on our services and performance. The panel is randomly selected and participates in face-to-face and telephone interviews at quarterly intervals throughout the year.
Youth forum
We also have a youth forum and youth parliament which gives young people the opportunity to be heard and listened to.
