South Gloucestershire Trading Standards carries out a wide range of activities to protect the public from unsafe consumer goods and enforces an extensive range of product safety legislation.
We ensure compliance with this legislation in various ways, including advice to local businesses, sampling and testing products and investigating complaints received from the public, businesses and other trading standards departments. We also provide advice to consumers on how to buy safe goods and avoid unsafe products.
Below are a series of guidance and advice leaflets you may find useful. We offer advice to South Gloucestershire based businesses to comply with the legislation we enforce. To discuss any queries you may have, please use the Our Contact details on this page.
