Direct Services is the contracting division of the council. We carry out a variety of work under contract to the council, businesses and individuals.
Since we were formed in 1997, we have grown steadily and now have a turnover of about £19m per year, making us one of the largest organisations of its kind in the south of England. We employ approximately 450 staff with a range of skills.
We have a service level agreement to carry out works for the Street Care department of the council.
