Drink and liquid food carton recycling -Tetra Paks

You can recycle your beverage cartons at our Tetrapak recycling banks. Every year, UK beverage carton manufacturers produce approximately 60,000 tonnes of paper-based cartons for milk and juices, and many other items such as chopped tomatoes and wine. This equates to around 2.3kg of cartons per household which could be recycled instead of being thrown in the rubbish bin.

Carton recycling banks can be found at:

  • Carsons Road SORT IT!* Centre, Mangotsfield
  • Collett Way SORT IT!* Centre, Yate
  • Short Way SORT IT!* Centre, Thornbury
  • Sainsbury’s, Fox Den Road, Stoke Gifford

NB  The carton recycling bank at Somerfield, Kingswood has been removed due to vandalism but will be replaced.

Please wash and squash your carton before recycling and only put paper-based liquid food and drinks cartons in the recycling banks unless otherwise specified. No plastic, card, cans, glass, plastic bags or foil.
