Rubbish, waste and recycling
Severe weather may result in disruption or changes to your rubbish and waste collection dates. Our webpage will be updated regularly with the latest information provided to us by these services.
Libraries
Individual library opening times are available online and may be subject to change during periods of severe weather. You can also check for any latest updates from the libraries homepage.
Council meetings
In the event of any changes to Council meetings due to severe weather, information will be published here and on the local democracy homepage.
Gritter routes
You can now view gritted routes for areas in South Gloucesteshire by using The local connection. Enter the address or postcode to check and then choose Gritting Routes and click the Show button from the menu that appears.
School closures
School opening times or closures during severe weather and similar emergencies will be displayed on the school opening status page (term time only). This information is updated daily by schools and they are able to refresh the information from 6 o'clock the previous evening. Parents and carers are advised to also check the school website and any text messages (if provided by the school) for further detailed information.
