Twitter

The council has started to post updates on social networking service Twitter, to provide residents with another way to keep in touch with the council.

Twitter is free to use and easy to join. Simply go to www.twitter.com/sgloscouncil and click the 'sign up' button. When you have an account, click the 'follow' button to receive council updates.

You can also post your own updates, and people following you will also be able to see them. It's easy to control who you follow and who follows you - just follow the instructions on the site.

For further information, and for full answers to any questions, Twitter has a comprehensive help and FAQ section. We would recommend that you have a read through before you start.

Please remember that Twitter is not run by the council and therefore the council is not responsible for any messages you might receive other than those from the 'sgloscouncil' account.
