Music - curriculum support

Curriculum support can be requested through the South Gloucestershire 'Curriculum Directory of Hands-on Support' - available in all schools. This directory brings together support from a range of colleagues, the vast majority of which is provided free of charge.

Schools can request support at any time during the school year by just completing the proforma at the back of the directory and sending it the curriculum directory manager Sue Morgan (fax 01454 868967). In addition to the support outlined, telephone support for music is available from Christine Wright (teaching and learning consultant for music) on 01454 863147.

A programme of music professional development is available through the LEA CPD programme. Information regarding music in the curriculum for all key stages is available on the Learning and School Effectiveness Service curriculum music web site - see the link on the right under 'Other websites'.
