No. South Gloucestershire Council strictly adheres to the rules governing the Blue Badge Scheme. These state you must display your blue badge whenever you are taking advantage of the scheme.
We can only cancel a charge issued for unauthorised parking in a disabled person's bay if you can prove that the blue badge was properly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle for the inspector to see.
This does not affect your right to appeal.
