Scams - homeworking

You might have seen tempting adverts offering high earnings for homeworking. To apply you have to send a non-returnable registration fee. Only then do you discover the catch. You have to become a local agent and recruit a number of other people to the scheme. If you meet this number you will be paid. However, those people will then be offered the same deal and your market dries up.
If the scheme involves making products you may find that the products are impossible to put together. They will then be refused by the organisers and you will not get paid.

If you are interested in homeworking ask at your local job centre or the National Group on Homeworking. They can be contacted on 0800 174095 or visit their website for more information.
