Millennium Volunteers
Who is it for?
- You need to be between 16 and 25 years of age (you need to register before your 25th birthday)
What do you have to do?
- Volunteer for 100 to 200 hours over a period of 12 months
- Millennium Volunteers was designed to recognise and accredit volunteering undertaken by young people
- You need to find a project they are interested in, organise it with your award leader, look at what you want to get out of it and keep a record of the hours you are doing
What do you get?
- After completing 100 hours you will get a Millennium Volunteers certificate. If you complete 200 hours you'll get a Millennium Volunteers award of excellence signed by the Secretary of State for Education.
