Cyclists gather at an event

Join our cycle forum

We'd like you to be involved in increasing the level of cycling in South Gloucestershire. Why not participate through the cycle forums? Each forum meeting has a session devoted to promotion issues and a session for technical issues - for example cycle lanes, cycle tracks etc.

When are the meetings?

Meetings for are listed below.

  • 31st January 2012
  • 27th March 2012

They take place between 6.00pm and 8.00pm at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre (the Creche).

Schemes which may affect cyclists

There are a number of sources of information on schemes which may affect cyclists:

  • new cycle scheme proposals in South Gloucestershire - look at the page 'Schemes which may affect cyclists'
  • highways schemes which may affect cyclists - look at 'Current and future consultations'

These pages are updated quite regularly so are worth checking from time to time.
Let us know what you think about any of these schemes by contacting CycleForum@southglos.gov.uk

Can anyone come along?

The forum is an informal meeting which is open to the public. You can either stay for the whole session or pop in for a short time.

A council officer will be there to hear your views and often councillors with an interest attend too.
Please check this page on the day to ensure there are no last minute changes to the time or venue etc.

To get an idea of numbers, please let us know if you're thinking of coming.
