Community Care - fees and charges

money
Some services provided for older and disabled people are chargeable. You will have to pay for some of the services we provide. The amount will be based on your ability to pay and will be determined by a financial assessment. You will not be refused a service that has been agreed because you cannot pay.

For more information about fees and charges, download our document 'Charges for Adult Community Careand Housing Services' (CCH 42). If you want information about charges for residents moving into a care home, download the document 'Residential and Nursing Homes – Information on charges' (CCH 37b). For both documents please see the 'Read more' box on the right-hand side of this page.

You may also like to know about direct payments. This is money we will give you (if you are eligible for services) so that you can pay for the help you need.  You can also download this document.
