Memorial Gates, St. Thomas A Becket Church, Pucklechurch
The gates, at the entrance to the path leading to St Thomas A Becket Church, are memorials to WWI and WWII. The gates were designed and erected by the Rev. Penfold in the early 1950s. They are wrought iron with the dates of the two world wars picked out in gold leaf paint.
Memorial Shields, St. Thomas A Becket Church, Pucklechurch
On the south wall inside the church there are two brass shields, one erected after WWI and the other after WWII. Although erected separately, the shields have been joined together.
A regular service of remembrance is held in the church when uniformed organisations and the parish council lay wreaths.
