Documents in the South Gloucestershire LDF

Bradley Stoke School
The following documents form the South Gloucestershire Local Development Framework (LDF). The list is not exhaustive. The timetables for the production of future documents are set out in the Local Development Scheme which will also become part of the Local Development Framework once they have been adopted.

Local Development Scheme (LDS)

The scheme sets out the three-year programme for the preparation of Local Development Documents. The current LDS covers the period January 2007 to December 2009. This document has been agreed with the Government Office for the South West.

Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)

In February 2008 the Planning Inspectorate considered the representations and examined the SCI and found it to be 'sound' and in accord with regulations. The Council then adopted the SCI on 21st May.

The adopted final version of the document is currently being compiled and printed - this will be available in hard copy and on this website in September/October. Meanwhile, the version that was approved by Full Council for adoption is available in the 'read more' box on the right of this page.

South Gloucestershire Local Plan and South Gloucestershire Minerals and Waste Local Plan

The Local Plan and the Minerals and Waste Local Plan have both been 'saved' into the Local Development Framework.  8 of the policies in the Minerals and Waste Local Plan expired on 27 September 2007 with the rest continuing as 'saved' policies.

Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)

The AMR is a progress report on the Local Development Scheme and assesses the Local Plan and Minerals and Waste Local Plan against a number of performance indicators.
Progress on the Local Development Scheme and monitoring of the performance of planning policies can be found in the Annual Monitoring Report.
