The Patchway hub is located on the old Patchway library site and opened in September 2011. The hub provides a central base for a range of services from South Gloucestershire Council and the NHS who work together for the benefit of the community. Services at the hub include a modern library, a council one stop shop with customer service advisors, information kiosk and support services for children, young people and families.

Our friendly, helpful staff will be able to help you with all your council enquiries including:

We also run a number of specialist surgeries where trained staff can talk through specific issues. Please come in and visit us for more information.
Library
In addition to a wide range of books for all ages, the library hires out DVDs, music and spoken word CDs. Free internet access is also available within the library and a range of courses are on offer. Storytimes for pre-school children and rhyme times for the very young are held on alternative Wednesdays. There is also a regular programme of holiday activities. Fax and photocopying facilities are available within the library.
Volunteer bureau
If you have considered volunteering but don't know where to start then this is the place. With information on a variety of volunteering opportunities in the area and further afield the Volunteer Centre can help you in finding your ideal role. The hub maintains close links with schools and colleges in South Gloucestershire to ensure that children, young people and families receive the right support and care to meet their specific needs.
Adults
Specialist services for adults with learning difficulties are available with planned activities and meetings (by appointment only). The meeting room is also available to other groups when not in use. For more information on these services or using the room please contact us on 01454 866155.
Additional facilities
A public 'changing places' toilet facility is available for persons who cannot use standard public toilets and includes a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.
