Who is it for?
Young people aged 11 - 25
What do you have to do?
- Volunteer your time to benefit other people for 15, 30 or 50 hours
- Register for the award and fill in the planning sheet and agree targets with your Youth Worker.
- After completion of the chosen number of hours, you will review and evaluate your achievements.
What do you get?
- You will receive a Certificate for volunteering when you have completed the award.
- The minimum volunteering time is 15 hours and can lead to additional awards.
- If the volunteering period spans over 13 weeks you could qualify for a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Service Section Credit Note.
- If you collect evidence of what you have been doing in the Volunteering Award, this could count as a Youth Achievement Award Challenge.
