'Stay and Play'

The stay and play operates within the grounds of Staple Hill Primary School, Page Road, Staple Hill.   Stay and play aims to support parents with their child's physical, social and emotional development through providing a range of fun and exciting play activities. We are available to parents and families to offer support and information on a wide variety of areas, e.g. childcare provision and work opportunities.

Time for Mums

Time 4 Mums is a group for Mums and Mums-to-be who are aged 21 and under. We meet weekly at The Staple Hill Children's Centre on Wednesdays 1.00 - 3.00pm. Come along to make new friends and get involved in a variety of activities.  

PEEP (Peers, early education partnership)

Peep is a Parenting Programme run by Sure Start and Helen Poole Area SENCO.

Childminder's Group

Childminding groups run by childminders and support from Sure Start

Friday 9.30am-11.00am

Information and Advice Sessions

All Sure Start Centres within South Gloucestershire now offer families with young children and information, advice and guidance service. Our Family Information Advisers can help you find out about local services and community provision, such as library services, toddler and pre-school groups, local childminders etc. We have information kiosks in every Children’s Centre to help you find out about health services, training and jobs, debt advice, benefit entitlements and much more.
