Core statutory
- All activities associated with the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Code of Practice at School Action Plus with or without statements
- Formal assessment and production of Appendix D report for statutory assessment
- Assessment and report writing associated with the annual review of a statement
- Attendance at annual review meetings
Core discretionary - non-traded
- Involvement in priority support for schools in serious weaknesses or in special measures
- Capacity building activities designed to help schools manage inclusion and SEN issues more effectively
- Small scale whole staff development and training arising from inclusion/SEN issues of individual pupils or groups of pupils (i.e. addressing a staff meeting)
Discretionary - traded
- Training - 'Successful teaching of Synthetic Phonics in Key Stage 1, 2 and 3'
- Behaviour management for school transport escorts
- Inclusion of disabled children in childcare training
- Other areas for trading currently being developed
