Play is about improving the chances children and young people have to play and enjoy their free time. For all sorts of reasons too many children and young people can miss out on the opportunity to play or hang out in places which suit their needs. This may be because of traffic, landscape design, concerns about safety, lack of time or the rise in electronic games and entertainment.
