Bristol Area Stroke Foundation (BASF) provide a wide range of services including information, individual counselling and family support, stroke groups and younger stroke groups, carer support, a swimming group, gardening group and education and training.
BASF operate a Resource Centre where stroke survivors can meet but also take part in a range of activities. These include conversation groups for stroke survivors who have communication difficulties, an art group, keep fit, etc. A carers group has also been set up alongside the Resource Centre enabling carers to provide support and advice to one another.
