The Arts Development Service can offer information and advice about working with an artist. We work closely with the Creative Learning Agency, the local participatory arts network, which has a searchable database of artists who work in community settings such as schools, youth groups, playgroups, older people's groups and general community groups. We also have produced a guide of things to consider when setting up a project and employing an artist.
The Creative Learning Agency is the arts education and participatory arts information service for South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and North Somerset councils. It offers a range of information to schools and other education providers who wish to work with artists and arts groups as well as information on artists who are skilled in working with community groups.
