ONS 2010 Mid-year population estimates

Each year the Office for National Statistics (ONS) publish mid year population estimates. They are the Governments official population estimates and are used locally by the council and its partners for a wide range of purposes.

The population of South Gloucestershire for mid-2010 (published on the 30 June 2011) is estimated to be 264,800.

A briefing paper which outlines the main findings for South Gloucestershire is available from the 'Read more' section of this page.
