Situated a few miles north-east of Bristol, this community museum gives an insight into an unusual village that from the 17th century was a community made up of largely non-conformist Quakers and Unitarians. Many Frenchay people had international influence – the founding of Dunedin, New Zealand, early Alpine exploration, J S Fry & chocolate, the founding of the Christian Socialist Movement, plus the story of Frenchay Hospital.
