Information on Patchway Bridge
The works on Patchway Bridge were completed and the road reopened to two way traffic on 29th May 2009. We would like to thank all the local residents, businesses and road users for their patience throughout these works.
There will be a further four to six overnight closures of the bridge on Saturday nights to allow the railway cutting below the bridge to be fully reinstated, using a crane positioned on the carriageway to lift materials up from the cutting below. These further closures will be advertised on site in advance. The diversion routes for the additional road closures will be the same as for the main bridge works (see below for more detail)
