The School Planning, Policy and Monitoring Team is responsible for ensuring there are sufficient school places in South Gloucestershire to meet local needs. It undertakes all associated monitoring and strategic reviews associated with this, including the preparation of South Gloucestershire's School Organisation Plan, the analysis of demographic changes in school population, the preparation of pupil projections and all associated data. In addition, the unit monitors the impact of policies relating to all areas of the division's responsibilities, including admission and transport to school.
