This is so that we can carry out a major refurbishment and extension to the current library. Due to the restricted space at 23 South Parade we will only be able to provide a limited selection of stock and PCs. We apologise for any inconvienience the temporary reduction in service will cause. We are sure, however, that the changes to the building will greatly increase the range of facilities on offer.

On foot: from the middle of the shopping centre in Yate, the library is now on South Parade next to Adams Children's wear and opposite Lidl.

Monday: 9.30am - 7.00pm
Tuesday: 9.30am - 7.00pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 9.30am - 7.00pm
Friday: 9.30am - 7.00pm
Saturday: 9.30am - 5.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am - 3.00pm
Chipping Sodbury Library on the High Street (next to the Police Station) will also be open for longer hours:

Tuesday to Saturday: 9:30am - 12.30pm, 1.30pm - 5.00pm

- Teen focus group meets bi-monthly (now moved to Chipping Sodbury Library 2nd Thursday of each month)
- Term-time pre school storytime Tuesday 2.15pm - 2.45pm (now moved to Chipping Sodbury Library)
- School holidays - children's activities, details on request
- Pensions surgery - every Thursday 10am - 12noon (now moved to Yate One Stop Shop, West Walk)
- Chatterbooks - reading group for children in years 5 and 6. Every 4th Saturday, 2.00pm - 3.00pm (now moved to Yate Leisure Centre)
- Pre-school Wriggle and Rhyme every Friday in term time 10.30am -11.15am (now moved to Children's Centre, Cranleigh Court Road)
